| More than 7,500 guests and local residents enjoyed our Event!!! Santa Claus arrived in Downtown Blue Ridge aboard the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Rudolph, Prancer and two more reindeer pulled the sleigh for Santa and Mrs. Claus' mini parade thru town. Clydesdale and the trackless train gave free rides. Our young volunteers helped entertain thousands of kids. Free Hot Chocolate was served while more than 600 free pictures were taken with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Rudolph, Gingerbread man and the sleigh pulled by reindeer had many more pictures taken. Our local talent filled us with Christmas Carols on 3 stages... and yes our beautiful tree was lit up!!! We hope to see you again next year for Light Up Blue Ridge 2008 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2008 |
